Fisher Place

Fisher Place is a rare collection of 12 contemporary residences positioned directly on the edge of Fisher Park in Fitzroy North. A1.Studio was engaged to develop the brand strategy, identity and complete marketing campaign for the project, creating a distinctive proposition that brings together architecture, landscape and the character of Melbourne’s inner north.

Working closely with Kim Lowman and Shane Rothe from Rothelowman, our strategy centred on a strong sense of locality, positioning Fisher Place as a considered extension of its surroundings, shaped equally by architecture, landscape and the unique character of Fitzroy North.

'Japandi' (Japanese & Scandinavian) influence provided the aesthetic foundation for Fisher Place, drawing on the architecture’s clean lines and balanced proportions, and the interiors’ natural materials, tactile finishes and warm, understated palette. These qualities informed every creative decision across the campaign identity, translating the character of the spaces into a visual language of quiet simplicity and considered restraint.

Art direction defined an intentionally grounded, lo-fi film aesthetic to honestly capture the natural rhythms of life surrounding Fisher Place, drawing on parkland, neighbourhood details and everyday Fitzroy moments to create an authentic sense of place, connection and community.

The identity was extended across print, digital and marketing collateral, creating a cohesive campaign that communicates the project’s defining proposition: contemporary architecture, nature and neighbourhood in one place.
